Project Scope: Replacing a rotting timber deck with a stunning circular composite design

We introduced a 5.5m diameter circular deck, crafted from Millboard composite decking in the rich Antique Oak finish. This timeless material, renowned for its natural wood-look aesthetics and exceptional durability, became the foundation for a stunning focal point.

3. Durable and Sustainable: Using Millboard’s PlasPro Subframe Materials

To ensure the deck's longevity, we utilized Millboard’s innovative PlasPro subframe system. Made from 100% recycled plastic, this sustainable subframe is impervious to rot and built to withstand the test of time, perfectly complementing the composite decking above.

4. Seamless Integration: Setting the Deck Flush with the Lawn

To create a natural flow between the garden and the deck, parts of the structure were set flush with the lawn. This seamless design blends the deck into the surrounding greenery, enhancing both aesthetics and accessibility.

The deck was designed to embrace its natural surroundings. Nestled against a backdrop of vibrant planting and positioned near a mature pond with lush aquatic vegetation, the deck provides a tranquil, picturesque space for relaxation and enjoyment.

The circular Millboard Antique Oak deck now serves as the heart of this beautiful garden.
